Shipping & Returns
SHIPPING
All orders are shipped within 1-2 days from the date of order and the same will be delivered on or before 6-8 working days from the date of dispatch.
Please note: We take a minimum of 2-4 working days to prepare and dispatch a custom order.
RETURNS
We do not offer returns/exchanges on products once sold unless they are damaged.
In case of Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
In case of any damage or issues: You would be then eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return in case of damages, you can contact us at info@thebasictribe.in within 48 hours of receiving the product. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Our quality check team will verify the details and contact you via mobile/email for the required action. Your email should mention all the details pertaining to your order along with images of the defect/complainant.
Product must be received within 15 days from the date our team cleared the issue with you.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. It will be done in a maximum of 4-5 working days from date of confirmation.
Incorrect/incomplete shipping address-we cannot make refunds in this case or if delivery attempts made by a shipping partner are refused by the recipient
Cancellation
Once an order is processed, no cancellation is available. We reserve the right to cancel any order and refund the entire amount back to you.
Wash Care Instructions
Your organic fibre garment needs little extra love and care.
We recommend you to always prefer hand washing the garment in cold water. This applies to all garments (handwoven and loom made). Remember only use a mild Ph neutral liquid soap.
As a general rule, do not soak, bleach or wring the garment. Wash dark colours separately. Dry in shade and iron before use.
Your garment becomes softer with each wash and brings utmost comfort to your little one.
